Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ember Pulse Studios, LLC, which operates Elegantarian (“Elegantarian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our storefront and affiliate-curation platform (the “Platform”). It applies to Curators who create accounts and to visitors who browse the storefronts we host.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information you provide when you sign up — such as your name, email address, storefront handle, and profile details.
  • Content you create on the Platform — your collections, product selections, styling notes, and posts.
  • Images you upload from your device — such as your logo or profile photo, header and hero images, and cover images. We store them so they can be shown on your storefront.
  • Affiliate details — the affiliate IDs, tracking parameters (the query string a network gives you), and link rules you enter so we can build your outgoing links. Section 4 explains how we keep them private.
  • Videos and connected accounts — videos you add to your storefront, and, if you choose to connect them, information from your Instagram and YouTube accounts. Section 3 explains exactly what we receive, how we use it, and how to remove it.
  • Mobile number and consent, if you sign up for text messages — see Section 4.
  • Billing information for paid plans. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive limited details such as your plan and payment status, but we do not store your full card number.
  • Usage and device data — such as pages viewed, clicks on your storefront, referring URLs, IP address, browser type, and similar analytics collected automatically as you and your visitors use the Platform.
  • Communications you send us, such as support or partnership emails.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, host, and secure your storefront and account;
  • Process subscriptions and payments;
  • Show you how visitors find and use your storefront — visits, clicks on your picks, and how your campaigns perform;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
  • Improve and develop the Platform; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Connected accounts and videos

Curators can show videos in the “Watch” section of their storefront in three ways. Connecting an account is always optional, and each connection reads only the account of the Curator who made it.

Instagram

When you click “Connect Instagram” and approve the request on Instagram, Instagram (a Meta service) gives us access to your Instagram professional account through Instagram Login, with the permission to view your profile and media. Using it, we receive:

  • your Instagram account ID and username;
  • an access token that lets us read your media list, which we renew automatically while you stay connected; and
  • for each of your posts that is a video (your reels): its ID, caption, link, thumbnail image, and the date it was posted. We read the media list only to find your reels and do not keep the details of other posts.

We use this information only to list your reels on the Videos page of your account and to publish them in the Watch section of your own storefront, where each reel plays through Instagram’s own embedded player. The caption becomes the video title, the thumbnail is copied to our storage so it displays reliably, and the post date orders your videos. We check for new reels every few hours. We do not read your comments, messages, insights, followers, or any other account, and we never post to Instagram on your behalf. Your access token is stored on our servers only; it is never shown in a browser or to storefront visitors. We do not sell Instagram data, share it with anyone other than the service providers who host the Platform for us, or use it for advertising or profiling.

YouTube

When you connect a YouTube channel, you give us the channel’s link or handle. We do not ask you to sign in to Google and we get no access to your Google or YouTube account. We read only the channel’s public information that anyone can see: its name and the title, link, thumbnail, publish date, and format (a Short or a regular video) of its public videos. Private and unlisted videos are never imported. We check for new public videos every few hours. Videos play through YouTube’s embedded player, which is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Videos you add yourself

You can also add videos by hand. This includes videos from TikTok, Vimeo, and other platforms, videos you recorded on your phone and posted elsewhere, and individual Instagram or YouTube links. For these we store what you give us: the title, the video’s link, and any cover image you paste or upload from your device. Where the Platform lets you upload media from your device, those files are kept in our storage and shown on your storefront. For links to public videos, we may also read publicly available details from the video’s page, such as its thumbnail, publish date, and whether it is portrait or landscape, to display it correctly.

Hiding, disconnecting, and deleting your data

  • Hide any video on your Videos page and it is removed from your storefront right away.
  • Disconnect a connected account on your Videos page and we immediately delete the access token, every video imported from that account, and our copies of their thumbnails.
  • Remove Elegantarian from your Instagram settings (Settings → Apps and websites) and Instagram tells us. We delete the access token, stop importing, and hide every reel imported from that account so none of them show on your storefront. The hidden reels stay in your Videos list until you delete them, using Disconnect or a deletion request.
  • Request deletion through Meta or follow the steps on our Instagram data deletion page. We delete the connection, every imported reel, and our copies of their thumbnails, and Meta gives you a confirmation code.
  • Delete a video you added yourself at any time from your Videos page. When you delete your account, your videos and connected accounts are deleted along with the rest of your account information (see Data retention).

You can also email privacy@elegantarian.com and we will delete this data for you.

4. Text messages

Two kinds of text message are available, and both are optional. A storefront visitor can enter a mobile number under “Get updates” to receive texts from that Curator through Elegantarian. A Curator can enter their own number to be texted when someone sends a consult request from their storefront. In both cases we record the number, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and the time, address and device of your signup, and we send one confirmation text asking you to reply YES before anything else is sent. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers and consent records are used only to send the texts you signed up for. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at once, or HELP for help. A Curator can also remove a number from their list in their dashboard.

5. Affiliate links and third parties

Storefronts on Elegantarian contain affiliate links to third-party brands, retailers, and affiliate networks. When a visitor clicks an affiliate link, they leave the Platform and are subject to the destination’s own privacy practices, including any cookies or tracking that network sets to attribute a sale. Elegantarian does not manage those affiliate relationships and does not control how Brand Partners or networks collect or use data once a visitor follows a link. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Your affiliate details stay private. We use the affiliate IDs, tracking parameters, and link rules you enter only to build the outgoing links on your own storefront. We do not show them to other Curators, share or sell them to Brand Partners or anyone else, or use them for any other purpose. A visitor who clicks a link does see the finished link in their browser, including your tracking parameters, because that is how the network credits the visit to you. We have no access to your affiliate accounts and no visibility into the sales, conversions, or commissions those networks record. We see only the clicks made on your storefront.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run the Platform — such as hosting and infrastructure providers, our payment processor (Stripe), and analytics tools — under obligations to protect the data.
  • Publicly, by your choice — the content you publish to your storefront, including your profile, logo or photo, header images, collections, and videos, is visible to anyone who views it.
  • Legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Elegantarian, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

7. Cookies and analytics

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how storefronts perform. We count storefront visits ourselves, without cookies: each visit is recorded with the page it came from, any campaign tag on the link, the visitor’s country and device type, and a one-way code that changes every day, so visitors can be counted but not identified or followed from day to day. We do not store visitors’ IP addresses for this. Storefront visitors may also encounter cookies set by the affiliate networks behind the links they click. Videos on a storefront load the hosting platform’s player (for example Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or Vimeo) only when a visitor presses play, and that platform may then set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Information from a connected Instagram or YouTube account is kept only while the account is connected. It is deleted when you disconnect, when you request deletion, or when you delete your account, as described in Section 3.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information directly in your account, or contact us to exercise these rights. We will not discriminate against you for doing so. If you no longer wish to receive non-essential emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in those messages.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials confidential.

11. International users

Elegantarian is operated from the United States, and we may process and store your information there or in other countries where our providers operate. By using the Platform, you understand your information may be transferred to countries with different data-protection laws than your own.

12. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Policy with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
